Service & Maintenance Manager - Hatfield - £60,000+ Per Annum

Service & Maintenance Manager - Role and Responsibilities:- Managing and organising new work orders, scheduling engineers, and ordering required equipment
- Overseeing works in progress and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately
- Direct management of up to 5 Engineers and 2 Administrative Staff
- Scheduling of maintenance visits and preparation of related documentation
- Conducting client and site visits to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and high standards are maintained
- Ensuring CRM system is consistently updated
- Producing Risk Assessments & Method Statements
- Conducting site surveys and generating quotations for small works
- Overseeing and preparing for NSI audits and schedules
- Managing engineers' schedules including access to plant, training, and equipment
- Providing efficient resolution to customer queries
- Acting as third-line telephone support for out-of-hours callouts (no site attendance)
- Reporting directly to the Director
- Office-based role (80%) with regular site visits (20%)
Service & Maintenance Manager - Skills and Experience Required:- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Service & Maintenance Management role
- Strong technical understanding of Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, and Intercom Systems
- Sales and design experience in electronic security systems
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with NSI Gold Standards and Health & Safety Management
- Advanced computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency essential)
- Ability to work efficiently, manage a team, and maintain excellent client relationships
