The post holder will provide leadership, support and line management to staff within the Education Strategy & Operations Business Unit, including education finance, performance and management information and reporting, pupil placement, early years admissions, roll projections and staffing structures, teaching job evaluation, business support, staff development, health and safety, probationer induction and management, developer contributions and grants (EMAs).

Applicants are expected to have significant knowledge and experience of education strategy and operations, and should be able to evidence impact in the effective and efficient delivery of education priorities relating to the above. Applicants should be able to evidence their strategic experience of managing cost reduction and budget efficiencies.

It is anticipated interviews will take place in John Muir House, Haddington on Friday 27 September.

Relevant Qualifications
Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or substantial level of relevant knowledge/training/experience.
