Service Manager/ Buddy Lead

Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting a buddy lead/service manager for a client of ours based in Lowdham. The purpose of this role is to manage a team and to co-ordinate the training, supervision and management of the Buddy Support Worker programme.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: 30,283 per annum
Main duties and responsibilities

8. Engage with the wider team, other prison departments and external stakeholders.

13. Provide regular progress reports and maintain knowledge of relevant policies.
14. Collect monitoring information and deliver reports.
15. Adhere to safety and risk requirements.
16. Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met.

Person Specification

1. Educated to at least "A" level, DipSW, or NVQ level 3.
2. Teaching or training qualifications (or willing to work towards).
3. Ability to build effective relationships.
4. Experience of working with older people, people in Criminal justice, or social care settings.
5. Experience of delivering services for older people.
6. Experience writing reports, letters, and other correspondence.
7. High level of IT literacy and a willingness to learn and use prison and Recoop IT systems.
8. Strong motivational skills.
9. Working with people with basic skills.
10. Knowledge of the voluntary sector.
11. Skilled in training/coaching/presenting.
12. Possess business development skills, identify, and develop potential funding opportunities.
13. Evidenced knowledge of the national and local offender management strategies.
