Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Service Engineer with previous experience of working on hydraulics for a successful, well-established Leeds based company.

Key aspects of the Service Engineer role include:

  1. Successful Service Engineer must have recent, demonstrable hydraulics experience.
  2. Hydraulics qualifications would be useful – if you haven’t got them, the company will arrange for you to attend the training courses (Stages 1-3 at the National Fluid Power Centre).
  3. Any pipe fitting and/or welding experience would be beneficial but not essential.
  4. Company is based in Leeds and when not travelling to site, the Service Engineer will be required on the shop floor.
  5. 36 hour working week; all hours worked over 36 are paid overtime starting at x1.5.
  6. All travelling hours to site (except your commute to the company premises) are paid.
  7. Average schedule could be 2-3 days per week on site and 2-3 days per week on the shop floor in Leeds.
  8. Regular weekly stopovers expected.
  9. Ford Transit Van with all required tools supplied.
  10. Service Engineer will receive a float so never has to pay out up front for meals, expenses, hotels etc.
  11. Service Engineers applying must have a UK driving licence and be able to work in the UK without sponsorship.
