Job description

Location: Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, England

£30k - 40k per year + Benefits

Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a Service Engineer of agricultural machinery, on behalf of our client based in Tingewick, Milton Keynes.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of a variety of machinery ideally in the agricultural, commercial vehicle or construction industry is required.
  • Ideally have a relevant qualification within the field of Land Based Engineering.
  • Ability to interact with customers and develop/build a relationship that ultimately delivers a positively satisfying experience.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
  • Ability to operate machinery on site for testing purposes.
Benefits:
  • Salary - £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience and any overtime worked.
  • Holiday entitlement - 24 days per year plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Pension - 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution.

  • Ongoing training as required.
Hours:
  • Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.30pm and Friday, 8am - 3.30pm with ½ hour lunch break (basic 39 hour working week).
  • Overtime available (Mon - Sat time and a half, Sunday - double time, bank holiday Monday - double time & day in lieu).
  • You will be required to do some weekend working especially during our peak harvest season.
