With a global presence, our client is a specialist manufacturer and distributor of data weigh equipment. They have been trading for over 100 years and are a top 10 company within this sector.
Due to client growth, they are looking for an additional Service Engineer in the South East.
You will ideally be an Electrical Engineer or a Mechanical Engineer with knowledge of electrical packages. Training will be given on the machinery, but as a minimum, you will need to have a BTEC/ONC in electrical engineering or proven time-served experience.
If you are an engineer with experience within multi-head weighing, the packaging industry, food production/manufacturing, check weighing, or X-Ray, this role would be ideal for you.
You will be expected to attend pre-booked appointments to service, maintain, and troubleshoot machines on customer sites as well as those on their own site.
The core working hours are Monday - Friday with only pre-planned weekend work (when required) which is on a pre-planned rota.
Whilst you will be covering the M4 corridor, the nearer you are to Chichester, the better, as they have a high concentration of clients near Chichester.
