Service Engineer

£33,000 - £36,500 OTE up to £50k + Monday to Friday, 40hrs (7:30-3:30pm) + Weekend Rota (8-10 average in a year) + Travel Paid + Regular Overtime + Career Progression + Industry-Leading Training + Excellent Company Benefits

Owned by a global holdings company, this organisation is a leading contractor for Network Rail. They have secured a number of engineering contracts for 2025 and offer unrivalled job security within the industry. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a fleet of rail vehicles. You will be exposed to engineering challenges that cover mechanics, electrics, hydraulics, and pneumatics and will be provided with full training. You will be supported through a number of industry-specific qualifications to launch your career.

The Role:

  1. Reactive and planned maintenance on a fleet of rail vehicles.
  2. Covering mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic engineering challenges.
  3. Predominantly site-based with occasional travel to sites across the UK.

The Person:
  1. Hold an engineering qualification in any discipline.
  2. Previous experience within a maintenance background is highly advantageous.
  3. Happy to work outside in any weather conditions.
  4. Ex-Forces candidates are encouraged to apply to the role and will be offered training.
