Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer will provide mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on hydraulic systems including pumps, power units, hoses, cylinders, rams, and other similar hydraulic solutions at customer sites in and around the North East. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer will ideally have a service background in mechanical / hydraulic engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pipework, filtration, plant machinery, cylinders, power units, valves, rams, compressed air, and/or similar mechanical engineering equipment.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer Role
- Provide mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on hydraulic systems including pumps, power units, hoses, cylinders, rams, and other similar hydraulic solutions at customer sites in and around Nottingham. Full product training provided.
- Undertake planned and preventative maintenance at customer sites across the North East area.
- Install hydraulic systems and pipework into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various hydraulic equipment.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer Requirements
- Service background in mechanical / hydraulic engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pipework, filtration, plant machinery, cylinders, power units, valves, rams, compressed air, and/or similar mechanical engineering equipment.
- Candidates with proven hydraulic experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar.
- The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
- A technical engineering degree/qualification or apprentice trained would be advantageous.
- Willingness to cover the North East.
