The Role

The role is for a Service Engineer to repair faults, service machinery and create preventative maintenance strategies for a market leading surface finishing company specialising in component manufacture and finishing for the aerospace and automotive industries.

1. Fault-finding, diagnosis and rectification on manufacturing machinery - surface finishing equipment.
2. Servicing equipment and machinery on an ongoing basis.
3. Creating and updating TPM schedules.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role will have the following attributes; Preferably you will have at least three years of experience in a similar role and must have previous experience in servicing and maintaining manufacturing/production machinery, ideally surface coating machinery (although other engineering machinery maintenance will be considered).

• Good mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge.
• Fault-finding, diagnosis and rectification experience on manufacturing machinery.
• Must be able to strip down and rebuild machinery.
• Must have good working TPM knowledge in a similar environment.
