Service Engineer

Our Client, a highly specialised engineering company, is looking to add to their technical team by appointing a Service Engineer with knowledge of automated equipment in high volume engineering.

As a Service Engineer, willingness to travel and be flexible is essential. However, this role is predominantly midlands based, so you should be home more often than not. A significant portion of your work is planned in advance (i.e., preventative not reactive), which should ensure some degree of work-life balance. On-call duties are also minimal.

To be considered for the role of Service Engineer, you will need:

• Proven service experience within an automated manufacturing environment (e.g., Disamatic Moulding, CNC Machines, Packaging Machinery, Automated Metrology, Conveyor Systems, Robotic Welding, or similar).
• The ability to be a self-starter and manage your own workload.
• The desire to progress your career and put new ideas forward to help achieve business goals.

In return for fulfilling the role of Service Engineer, my client can offer a generous salary of up to £35,000 with a realistic OTE of £45,000. Perhaps more important is the opportunity to join a growing business with lots of future progression and the ability to work independently quickly.
