The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer will provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on engines, diesel engines, pumps and other related mechanical engineering products.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Role
Provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on engines, diesel engines, and pumps.
The Mobile Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance at customer sites across Bedford and surrounding areas.
Provide service, maintenance and repair of diesel engines.
Installing pump systems and pipework into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various pump and diesel driven equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Requirements
Mechanical service background in mechanical engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pipework, filtration, plant machinery and or similar mechanical engineering equipment.
Will hold an Engineering Qualification of at least a Level 3 NVQ.
Proven Mechanics from within the vehicle / automotive industry are encouraged to apply.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar.
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Willingness to visit customer sites in Bedford and surrounding areas.
