Service Electrical Engineer
Role Overview:
As a Service Electrical Engineer , you'll support the installation, commissioning, modification, and maintenance of Low Voltage (415V) and Medium Voltage (11kV) switchgear and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation: Offloading, aligning, wiring, bolting, testing (Flash, Megger, Ducter), and retrofitting switchgear.Pre-commissioning: Check control wiring, mechanical/electrical interlocks, and breaker functionality; input protection relay settings.Commissioning (SAT): Conduct full function tests, verify relay settings, and provide detailed site reports.Documentation: Complete reports, test certificates, timesheets, and expenses accurately and promptly.Communication: Maintain clear and professional verbal and written communication with clients and internal teams.Skills & Experience Required:
Strong background in electrical switchgear systems (especially in Oil & Gas/Petrochem industries). Skilled in testing electronic protection relays and reading schematic diagrams. Experience working on-site in the UK and internationally. ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Full UK driving licence and legal right to work in the UK.Must be eligible for SC Clearance Personal Qualities:
