Job Opportunity: Service Delivery Manager - Cloud

Location - Edinburgh or Glasgow Hybrid (2 days per week)

Do you have a passion for efficiency, a strong analytical mindset, and a keen interest in data? Are you experienced in cost management, optimisation, and capacity management within an Azure cloud environment? Are you adept at running disaster recovery drills, reporting on exceptions, and continuously improving processes? If so, you may be the perfect fit for this role, and we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Proficiency: Navigate confidently through the Azure portal and work effectively with Excel, including creating and managing pivot tables.

Collaboration: Work closely with our Cloud Operations and Platform Engineering teams to enhance the efficiency and resiliency of our platforms.

Task Management: Execute a range of tasks including analysis, reporting, and developing robust processes for capacity and resiliency management.

Support: Provide our Service Delivery and Account Management teams with capacity-related information for customer presentations.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Experience in Cost Management and Azure Monitor.

Strong understanding of virtual resource billing in Azure.

Skilled in working with data, generating reports, and presenting statistical information.

Disaster Recovery:

Security and Testing:

Experience coordinating or reporting on penetration testing ("pentesting").

Database Technologies:

Knowledge of database technologies in a SaaS context, particularly Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL.

Security Tooling:

Exposure to security tools such as SIEM.
