Service Controller - Nationwide Service Provider

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP30,000 + 20 days holiday + bank + pension + life assurance

Do you have experience in scheduling and planning maintenance work or service visits?

A nationwide service provider to the vehicle fleet industry with an enviable reputation spanning 50 years is now looking for a Service Controller to join their Head Office Depot on the outskirts of Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

Responsibilities:

  1. Take pre-planned maintenance bookings from customers and plan and schedule these.
  2. Speak to customers to arrange follow-up visits and book them in.
  3. Interact with Service Engineers and process Engineer job sheets/work reports.
  4. Change the job status on the internal system and ensure all inputted data is always correct.
  5. Take ownership in service improvement initiatives and cost control.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven track record of working within a service controller, service co-ordinator, or service administration capacity within a service, maintenance engineering, or technical environment.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Ability to interface with people at all levels.
  4. Proficient in the use of Office 365, including Word and Excel.
