Autumn House senior living facility, in West Bloomfield is seeking a new server/prep person to join our team.

As a Server/Prep assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents, ensuring they receive excellent service and enjoy delicious meals. Your primary responsibility will be serving meals and providing personalized assistance to meet the unique needs and preferences of our senior residents. Your role will contribute to their overall satisfaction and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
  • Plate and serve meals promptly and efficiently, presenting food in an appealing and appetizing manner.
  • Assist in kitchen with prep work, following chef's directions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Deliver room service trays.
  • Transport residents to and from the dining room.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, following health department regulations and facility policies.
  • Cover breaks for staff.

Requirements:

  • Every other weekend is mandatory.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Good problem-solving skills required. Attention to detail and food safety standards.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift.
  • Ability to follow directions with strong organizational skills.
