Job description

We are looking for an experienced True Crime Series Producer to join our team, for a highly anticipated Channel 4 prime time series based in Cardiff. This is an opportunity for a talented Series Producer with a strong background in journalism, compliance, duty of care and skilled at making retrospective story-telling feel live and compelling.

You will develop and oversee a gripping 8 part series and will be a hands-on SP who is confident with casting, the sensitivities of police and contributor access, as well as being able to craft a new series format with documentary rigour. Experience overseeing multiple edits is essential. You will have strong leadership and team management skills, and exceptional storytelling instincts.

We need someone with a creative vision for a brand new series and experience of writing detailed beat sheets for complex, multi-layered scenes; overseeing a small filming team, helping them script, plan and shoot to ensure a premium doc feel.

The role is based in our Cardiff office and filming is likely to be across the UK. The role will start in May for around 6 months, and we would expect you to be in the office at least 4 days a week in Wales.

As this is a Welsh production we would encourage people who live here to apply as we want to further grow our talent in the country. Please do not apply if you do not live nearby.

At Curve we are committed to cultivating and celebrating a culture of inclusion. We encourage applications from candidates from every background. Please let us know if you require any special assistance when applying.
