The Role
SEO has been instrumental to the company’s success so far and will remain an integral part of our growth story. We are looking for a talented individual who lives and breathes SEO and wants to become our SEO hero.
In a nutshell, you’ll be responsible for…
- Establishing SEO as a key growth pillar within the company and ensuring that SEO is a common mindset when developing content and product for Unbiased.
- Owning the strategic SEO roadmap across all target audiences for unbiased.co.uk & unbiased.com.
- Running regular audits, scoping and prioritising actions and driving implementation across the organisation.
- Optimising visibility and site indexing with Google, ensuring the most important content gets ranked.
- Refining and implementing site and content structure to align with SEO best practices.
- Ensuring content is SEO ready and is regularly updated.
- Collaboration with existing SEO team members to help champion organic as a channel, discuss ideas to drive growth and share learnings.
- Keeping up to date with SEO developments, Google updates and best practices. Being the internal expert for all questions related to SEO.
- Incorporating AI-powered tools and processes into the SEO workflow to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborating with the product team on the launch and integration of tools, features, and innovations that support SEO goals and site performance.
- Close collaboration with product, development and content teams and alignment with performance marketing, conversion rate optimisation and other relevant stakeholders.
To succeed, you’ll need…
- 3-5 years’ experience in SEO, with a focus on technical SEO.
- Experience or familiarity with AI-driven tools or workflows to enhance SEO outcomes.
- Experience working on SEO strategy and hands-on optimisation with an online business.
- Experience with generating leads and conversions.
- To have built processes when working with content, product and development teams.
- Strong analytical skills and be able to articulate results to the wider business.
- To work autonomously, be highly organized and able to work to tight deadlines.
- To be a proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and relevant SEO tools.
- A strong interest in personal finance and an understanding of how it relates to consumers' needs and challenges.
- The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- A university degree in business, technology or a related subject.
- To be fluent in English.
