THE ROLE
Reporting to the agency Founder, you will enjoy a great degree of independence in managing your work. Acting as SEO Account Manager for a broad range of clients you will play a key role in delivering search projects. You will adhere to their carefully crafted processes as you carry out your work and your initiative will be welcomed upon proving yourself capable.
As the work will be completed remotely, being responsive to online communication to ensure transparency is an absolute must. Your day-to-day activities will include but not be limited to:
- On-page optimisation strategy including headings, content expansion, images, linking
- Competitor analysis
- Keyword research
- Technical SEO checks (including site speed, eCommerce setups, schema, website crawls, indexing issues)
- Emailing with clients about feature requests & SEO questions
- Monthly reporting and strategic planning tasks for best ROI
- Technical dev requirements and briefs to developers
- Project design review and suggestions including navigation structures
- Optimise Google My Business listing (Local SEO)
- Website SEO auditing
- Content Strategy
- Creating content briefs & proofreading
TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Prior agency experience, accomplished in working directly with clients as a lead contact on accounts
- Perfect written and verbal communication skills with the know-how to translate detailed knowledge into key takeaways for all involved on the project (clients, web developers, copywriters, assistants).
- Comprehension of site development from conception and wireframes to build and development
- Familiarity with how both front-end design and back end set up can affect SEO performance
- Confident use of SEO tools: Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, AWR, etc.
- Great organisational skills, attention to detail, presentation and accuracy when working with numbers, spreadsheets and reports. Confident using Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Word
- Advanced Excel skills are imperative (vlookups, pivot tables etc)
- Analytical – confident using Google Analytics, Google Search Console (GSC)
LOCATION
Registered in Scotland, this agency offers remote work (WFH) to employees living in the UK. As such you MUST ALREADY HAVE permit to work in the UK granted, ie No visa sponsorship or applications from outside the UK, please.
BENEFITS
Uniquely this employer created a remuneration package tailored to valuing individuals. You’ll be working 80% of the week (Mon-Thurs) but be paid at a pro-rata rate of 90% of the full-time equivalent!
- Pro rata salary up to £36k per annum (full time equivalent of £40k)
