Senior Water Hygiene Engineer - Central London (1 hour work radius required)

£32000-£38000 + Full Benefits package

With a head office in London, our client is really making waves in the water hygiene sector and are now due to new contracts being awarded looking for a Senior Water Hygiene Engineer to join the team and play an active part in client management, mentoring trainees whilst remaining on the tools.

This role would suit someone who is looking to move into a full-time supervisor role within 2 years.

To apply for the Senior Water Hygiene Engineer post, the following background is being considered:

1. A minimum of 5 years in a similar position with a NVQ (L2 or L3) in plumbing or similar industry qualification.
2. Enhanced DBS or be able to pass the required checks.
3. Full driving license and willingness to cover a 1-hour radius from Central London.
4. Previous experience in mentoring or supervising beneficial.
5. A strong understanding of site standards and safety required within the water industry.

Duties for the water hygiene team include:

1. Temperature monitoring/testing and visual inspection of water systems.
2. TMV Servicing.
3. Analysis of closed systems.
4. Cleaning/Disinfections of pipework systems, cold water storage tanks and cooling towers in accordance with BS 8558:2011.
5. Some remedial plumbing where required.
6. Carry out planned and reactive visits when required.

The Senior Water Hygiene Engineer will work on commercial sites including: Offices, Retail, Health Care and Education. No evening work is required, overtime is available, and all Water Hygiene Engineers will receive the following benefits:
