Job description

The role

The UX Research team is looking for a highly motivated and talented Senior UX Researcher who will be supporting the global product teams from Kindred's technology hub in London, UK or Stockholm, Sweden.

The UX Research team at Kindred collaborates closely with Analytics, CX, and Service Design. Together we deliver insight-driven solutions to business and customer challenges. We collaborate with Product and Design teams to create a user-centred approach for our brands.

If you love blending qualitative and quantitative data to tell meaningful stories about our customers and have a passion for uncovering and exposing the truth about customer/product interactions, then this role is perfect for you.

What you will do

  • Joining our global UX Research team, you'll be part of an expanding and influential group of user researchers dedicated to spearheading user-focused research efforts.
  • You will define, prioritise, and execute a program of research using a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • You will work closely with colleagues within design, engineering, research, analytics, customer experience, and product teams across various business areas.
  • Your role will involve finding and engaging with our target audience, acting as their champion by conducting research and guiding our product design to deliver pioneering solutions that effectively address their needs.
  • You will synthesise data from sources around Kindred and work closely with other insights teams to help teams develop insights.
  • Your analysis will shape products used by a global customer base.
  • You will advocate inclusive approaches within user research.
  • As a Senior Researcher, you will demonstrate the ability to mentor and train other researchers or designers in the practice of user research.

Your experience

  • Proven extensive experience conducting user research throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Solid interviewing skills to uncover insights on user behaviours, needs, and experiences.
  • Considerable experience in creating, distributing, and analysing multi-market online surveys to gather user feedback efficiently.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis, and the ability to triangulate customer insights from a combination of data sources to derive meaningful insights.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and human-centred design processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to use storytelling to effectively convey complex research findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with driving UX research initiatives within an agile product development environment.
  • Passion for user-centred design, empathy for users, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or similar, in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or User Experience Research preferred.
