My client, a leading specialist insurer, is seeking a dynamic Senior Underwriter to join their thriving team. With a strong track record of growth and ambitious yet achievable expansion plans, they are looking for an experienced underwriter to play a key role in driving continued success.

Salary: c.£90,000 + benefits/bonus
Location: City of London
Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 from home

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional eager to help build the book of business within a collaborative and inclusive team environment. The role will primarily focus on UK business, with potential expansion into multinational accounts over time. You will have the opportunity to underwrite high-value risks mainly around the six-figure mark, reaching up to the £2-3 million range.

While a broad Property & Casualty background is advantageous, my client is also keen to speak with candidates who may have a core specialism in Casualty, Property, or Construction and are looking to further develop their expertise in a market-leading environment.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and capable underwriting specialist, adept at building and maintaining client relationships, mentoring junior underwriters, and committed to continuous professional development.
