Our enterprise-grade back-office platform helps businesses and institutions automate financial reporting and compliance for digital assets so they can navigate the crypto space with confidence. Location

At Cryptio, we're a remote-first team, with most working 100% remotely, while others enjoy a mix of office time in our hubs in London or Paris. This role requires candidates to be based in the UK or France, and we support the setup that works best for your lifestyle and productivity-whether that's fully remote, in the office, or a blend of both!

The Team

You'll be joining Cryptio's Exchange Data Squad, the team responsible for building and optimizing third-party data integrations that power our platform. This squad focuses on scalable backend services, handling external APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure to ensure seamless, accurate financial data connections.

In the fast-paced crypto ecosystem, APIs, regulations, and data structures constantly evolve. Our customers rely on Cryptio for reliable, real-time data syncing across exchanges, custodians, and financial systems. As part of this team, you'll tackle complex backend challenges-processing massive data volumes, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring security and compliance.

Team Stack

• Language: Typescript (Nest.js, Slonik, Zod)
• Databases: Clickhouse, RocksDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, AWS, Pulumi, Docker, GitLab

What you'll be doing

• Write high-quality TypeScript code for new and existing integrations
• Ensure integrations meet user needs by collaborating with product teams
• Tackle data inconsistencies and unify data structures
• Monitor integration health and proactively fix issues
• Contribute to architecture decisions for scalability and reliability

We're looking for someone who has

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Production experience with TypeScript
• Experience with third-party APIs (REST, GraphQL)
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases)
• Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, and other API authorisation methods
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of building strong relationships with technical and non-technical audiences.
• An analytical mindset, a passion for solving complex problems, and an interest in the crypto and fintech industry.
