Senior Transport Planner

Senior Transport Planner - Basildon - Up to £40,000

A global multisite logistics company are looking for a Transport Planner to join their team in Basildon.

As Transport Planner, you will be working with a team of Planners coordinating multi drop vehicles including pallet network. You will be planning a high number of containers throughout the week, working with subcontractors to route vehicles and containers UK wide.

Full time:

Monday to Friday - 12:00 - 20:30

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the manager with the smooth running of the transport team
2. Optimize planning for multi-stop collection & delivery routes within legal requirements
3. Monitor driver performance
4. Assist with driver booking
5. Booking with 3rd party hauliers

Requirements:

1. Managers CPC is Essential
2. Multi drop experience required
3. Excellent geographical knowledge
4. 2 Years' experience as a Transport Planner
5. Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
