Senior Town Planner
Location: Aylesbury

Are you an experienced Town Planner looking for the next step in your career? We are recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and well-established planning consultancy that is seeking a Senior Town Planner to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across various sectors, delivering high-quality planning solutions for a wide client base.

The Role

As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in managing planning applications, providing expert advice, and supporting clients through the planning process. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to the strategic growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Managing and preparing planning applications, appeals, and development proposals
  2. Conducting site appraisals and planning assessments
  3. Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients
  4. Providing strategic planning advice and policy analysis
  5. Mentoring and supporting junior team members
  6. Keeping up to date with planning legislation and industry developments
About You
  1. MRTPI qualified (or working towards full membership)
  2. Proven experience in a planning consultancy or local authority role
  3. Strong knowledge of UK planning regulations and policies
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  6. A proactive and client-focused approach
