Senior Town Planner or Associate Town Planner

The Role:

1. Leading and coordinating planning applications and strategies.
2. Working closely with clients to deliver high-quality planning and development advice.
3. Managing and delivering multi-disciplinary projects across sectors including transport, energy, water, and housing.
4. Providing strategic planning support for a range of clients, including government bodies, developers, and infrastructure providers.
5. Mentoring and developing junior planners within the team.
6. Identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Requirements:

1. A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning (RTPI accredited) and Chartered Membership of the RTPI.
2. Significant experience in planning, either within consultancy, local authority, or private sector.
3. Strong knowledge of UK planning law and procedures.
4. Proven track record of managing complex planning applications and working on strategic planning projects.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
6. Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to business development.
