Senior Technology Support Officer

IT Services are looking for a senior technician to join our enthusiastic and customer-focussed technology support team, providing support for desktop and mobile computing throughout the University, as well as audio-visual technologies in the University's teaching areas and meeting rooms.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide support for desktop and mobile personal computer hardware installation and repairs.
2. Assist with audio-visual technologies such as projectors, switches, and visualizers.
3. Work independently and advise less experienced team members.
4. Provide support across all University sites and visit other buildings as required.

You will be expected to work independently and to advise and assist less experienced members of the team when called upon, so the ability to work unsupervised is therefore essential. A full UK driving licence is required.
