Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To assist the Roads Operation Manager and Senior Engineer in:

  • Delivering the Council’s capital road maintenance programme.
  • Management and maintenance of the local road network in accordance with legislation.
  • Preparing minor infrastructure designs and supervision of schemes.

Requirements
  • NC/HNC in Civil Engineering.
  • Good understanding of both Road and H&S Legislation.
  • Valid driving licence. You will be expected to travel across the Council network to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
