Senior Technician

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Technician to join the Street Lighting, Signs and Amenities Team.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative individual who will be based at Hellaby Depot. This post forms part of the Highway Service which is responsible for all highway management and programmed maintenance on our network of 1100km roads, including responsibility for street lighting and street furniture in accordance with associated Codes of Practice.

The Senior Technician will assist in the organisation, management and supervision of the design, installation and maintenance of street lighting, signs and amenities, providing technical expertise within the Council and to other organisations and agencies. The successful candidate will also be involved in the management of the street lighting delivery team. Further details of the main roles and responsibilities are included in the Job Profile.
