Job description

Looking for a Senior Technical Manager or Design Manager to lead on a 300 unit, high-rise scheme in East London. Managing a small team and leading the project from inception through to completion you will be joining a leading London developer who builds some of the city's most sought after schemes!


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage a team of Technical Coordinators/Managers and external consultants to ensure successful project execution.
  2. Provide strategic input into planning design and guide the optimisation process through to approval.
  3. Supervise the design team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality production information.
  4. Collaborate closely with Land and Planning, as well as Sales and Marketing teams, to develop technical specifications.
  5. Prepare and present the Pre-Contract Programme to stakeholders.
  6. Oversee the timely submission and follow-up of statutory queries and applications (NHBC, LABC, Building Regulations).
  7. Conduct regular site inspections, focusing on Health & Safety compliance and reporting.
  8. Liaise with the Commercial team to maintain budget adherence and cost controls.
  9. Attend and lead various project meetings, ensuring effective coordination with internal and external parties.
  10. Proactively resolve technical and construction challenges as they arise.
Job Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in delivering medium to high-rise residential developments.
  2. In-depth knowledge of building regulations, environmental standards, and relevant legislation.
  3. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  4. A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering.
  5. Base salary up to £100,000 plus travel allowance & competitive bonus structure.
