Fawkes and Reece are currently assisting a national property developer in their search for a Senior Technical Manager with residential new build experience who can work across South West London.
About the role of Senior Technical Manager
The role is for a Technical Manager who can comfortably commute into South West London to assist with the construction of 450 residential new builds. This role would be fully on-site, but remote working is available. It will start on a temporary basis and may continue to a permanent contract.
Responsibilities for Senior Technical Manager
- Assist with ensuring all equipment requiring calibration is sent in a timely manner to maintain the site calibration matrix.
- Check trade across the projects.
- Support Head of Design.
- Participate in the management and co-ordination of the external consultant team through all stages of project procurement (Land & Planning, Commercial, Production, Sales and Adoptions).
- Oversee the production of working drawings and detailed information to ensure completeness, coherence, accuracy, and timely availability.
- Provide technical support during land buying, planning, sales, construction, and post-construction.
Requirements for Senior Technical Manager
- Industry-related qualification.
- Ability to work under own initiative.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and accurately follow a programme.
- Proven experience within a similar field (Residential).
- Experience working for main contractors/national developers.
- HNC/HND in a building-related topic.
- CSCS card or equivalent.
- Current full UK driving licence.
