Senior Technical Coordinator

I am currently looking to speak with Technical Coordinators or Senior Technical Coordinators who have experience in managing their own residential scheme from inception to compilation reporting back to a Senior Technical Manager and Technical Director. The leading residential developer offers a great platform for the Senior Technical Coordinator to progress to a technical manager position within a 2/3 year period, whilst ensuring they have a competitive salary and package.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure regular Design Team Meetings, at early stage of development, occur within the relevant consultants.
2. Oversee the production of working drawings and detail information to ensure that it is complete, coherent, accurate, and available on time to whoever needs it. The design solutions are to be as practical and economic as possible.
3. Provide technical support during land buying, planning, sales, construction, and post-construction.
4. Take new site information from Land and check it prior to committing to drawing stage.
5. Assess planning information for obvious Building Regulation requirements.
6. Agree programmes, packages, detail packages, and superstructures before final issue.
7. Ensure consultants are briefed on required distribution of drawing information and key dates to meet procurement requirements and that architectural and engineering drawings tie up, and that subsequent changes necessary to design after permission has been granted are communicated through to the Planning Department as minor amendments.
8. Ensure NHBC approval is obtained, and any conditions are cleared promptly to avoid delays to completions and apply/pay for all NHBC warranties and Building Control.
