Job description

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Tax Analyst for our client based in South Cambridge. This role offers hybrid working which is 2 days onsite initially, then dropping to 1.

You will be a key player in the finance team, supporting both corporate (CT) and indirect tax (VAT) processes. You'll ensure compliance, improve tax processes, and provide valuable insights to the business. The main responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Tax Compliance & Reporting: Prepare VAT, Intrastat, EC Sales, and CT filings.
  2. Process Improvement: Drive automation and optimise tax processes.
  3. Tax Advisory Support: Assist in advising stakeholders on tax matters and legislative changes.
  4. Risk & Audit Management: Support tax audits and correspondence with tax authorities.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with finance, supply chain, and commercial teams on tax-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:
You must have experience in VAT compliance and have knowledge of current CT & VAT laws. You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyse large data sets. You must also be part or fully qualified in accounting or tax.
