FTC Senior Talent Coordinator Job Description

Marcilly Recruitment is seeking a Senior Talent Coordinator for one of our fun, buzzy tech clients.

This is a three to six month temp role initially with the view to go permanent if all goes well from both sides. They are looking to interview and onboard ASAP.

As a Senior Talent Coordinator supporting the leadership team, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, including people operations and marketing. You will be the first point of reference for the firm and so personality, professionalism, and excellence are required.

Senior Talent Coordinator benefits:

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 DOE

Benefits: bonus, pension, 26 days holiday, flexible hours and additional flexible benefits to spend allowance as you please

Hours: 09:00 – 17:00

Start date: ASAP – 1 Week notice period max

Senior Talent Coordinator Requirements:

  • You are focused and enjoy working autonomously, managing your own time and priorities. You are equally comfortable planning ahead and thinking on your feet.
  • You’re an excellent written and verbal communicator, with a professional communication style as you are the first representative of the firm for prospective employees.
  • You have a proactive, can-do attitude and are happy to pick up ad hoc tasks and projects.
  • You are approachable and welcoming to clients, candidates, new-joiners, co-workers, and key stakeholders alike.
  • You are people-focused and approachable.
  • You have great attention to detail.
  • You are enthusiastic about company culture and want to create a practical and enjoyable office environment.
  • You are approachable and accommodating, yet able to push back and gatekeep where necessary.
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge and ideas about how the firm can improve.
  • You’re comfortable working in a scaling business, where time is critical, and things change on a regular basis.
  • You are trustworthy and discreet when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience in a SME, start-up or scale-up is beneficial.

Senior Talent Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring job openings are advertised on the right platforms to attract top talent.
  • Building relationships with universities, industry associations, and recruitment agencies to enhance the talent pipeline.
  • Conducting initial screenings and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
  • Managing relationships with external recruitment agencies and other Talent service providers.
  • Provide a point of escalation for hiring within a specific business area.
  • Managing the talent suppliers and ensuring cost-effective recruitment practices.
  • Leading the recruitment process for critical positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
