Senior Systems Trainer – IT and Legal Software
Location: Sheffield

CRA Consulting is excited to support the recruitment of a highly experienced Senior Systems Trainer for a well-established legal practice that is a leader in providing a wide range of legal services across the UK. With over 30 years of industry expertise, this firm has built a strong reputation for delivering outstanding legal solutions. They are seeking a Senior Systems Trainer to join their dynamic team and help ensure their systems and technologies remain at the forefront of the industry.

As a Senior Systems Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of training across the firm’s IT and legal software systems. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team committed to continuous development and operational excellence, while contributing to the success of a forward-thinking organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct periodic training needs analysis and tailor training delivery to meet the needs and abilities of employees at all levels.
  2. Design and deliver comprehensive training programs covering IT, tech, software, and systems, ensuring they are suited to the skills required for each role.
  3. Deliver training sessions through various mediums (face-to-face, online, distanced learning) for IT systems.
  4. Develop and maintain training documentation, user manuals, guides, and reference materials.
  5. Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and learning outcomes.
  6. Collaborate with the Head of Training and the Group Director of Process and Systems to design and deliver training courses from onboarding through to advanced stages.
  7. Support new starters and existing staff in reaching competency with IT, tech, and systems and achieving best practices.
  8. Assist with the implementation and roll-out of new systems, ensuring smooth transitions.
  9. Develop and maintain a network of super users for IT systems.
  10. Research and adopt new methods of training delivery to align with the latest Learning and Development industry standards.
  11. Support and mentor junior systems trainers within the team.

Who Are We Looking For?
To succeed in this role, you will have:

  1. At least 2 years of experience in identifying training needs, creating up-to-date training materials, and delivering training on IT systems and processes across various mediums.
  2. A solid understanding of Solicitor’s Case Management Systems and cloud-based Information Systems. Experience with Eclipse Proclaim would be a distinct advantage.
  3. Strong analytical skills to assess individual, team, and business training needs, alongside the ability to develop and deliver tailored training programs.
  4. Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with different departments, businesses, and senior stakeholders.
  5. The ability to deliver face-to-face, online, and distance learning sessions in a large corporate environment.
  6. Proven experience in inspiring and motivating others to adopt new systems and processes.
  7. Familiarity with the ADDIE framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) for learning and development.
  8. Experience using an eLearning platform and creating eLearning modules.
  9. Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
