Role Purpose:

To support and administer the companies IT network infrastructure and services, ensuring they remain fit for purpose in their availability, integrity and confidentiality.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Support and Administration of server and network Infrastructure

Be a subject matter expert on the technical infrastructure including but not limited to:

• Hyper-V, physical servers, SAN, NAS
• Physical and virtual Windows servers
• Active Directory
• SQL Server
• DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
• Firewalls and associated configs/rules – FortiGate Firewalls
• Network switches
• Cloud telephony
• Security services such as MS Defender for Endpoint, Sophos, Mimecast, and Protective Monitoring
• Backup solutions such as Acronis
• OS patching
• Vulnerability scanning and Pen testing
• Microsoft InTune
• Office 365
• Software Asset Management
• Maintain the documentation for the above.

Strategic and Project support

Support the Infrastructure Manager in strategic planning around core technologies and infrastructure, Implement strategies identified and agreed.

Look to implement a cloud-first policy identifying opportunities to migrate systems into Supplier maintained SaaS offerings or where appropriate MS Azure.

Risk identification and mitigation

Understand and support the requirements and implementation of:

• CyberEssentials Plus
• PCIDSS
• GDPR and BS10012
• ISO 27001 and 27701
• Data loss prevention tools

Bear in mind the above in all decision-making and support maintaining compliance and ensuring continuous improvement.

Help to identify any IT infrastructure related risks and work with Infrastructure Manager to resolve.

External suppliers

Leisure outsource various areas related to infrastructure including but not limited to:

• Pen testing
• Protective Monitoring
• Various telephony/networking services or infrastructure

This role is expected to monitor these and other appropriate suppliers especially around their technical performance.

• Security products such as web and mail perimeter security, and vulnerability scanners
• Change Management knowledge
• Availability products such as backup/replication tools
• Patching tools

EXPERIENCE & TRACK RECORD

Essential:

• Current or recent experience working with the technologies listed
• Proven record of infrastructure support experience
