About the role

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, optimising, and ensuring the reliable operation of various internal systems critical to our organisation’s operations. This role will be focused on Salesforce administration, and demands a high level of technical expertise and a proactive approach to system maintenance, performance monitoring, and user support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to configure systems, implement best practices, and support the integration of internal platforms to drive efficiency across the organisation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain core internal systems to ensure they function seamlessly and meet evolving business needs. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of systems used by multiple departments, ensuring they are aligned with organisational requirements.
  • Implement system configurations, upgrades, and patches to maintain optimal performance, security, and functionality. By staying informed on best practices and updates, you will apply enhancements that contribute to system reliability and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve system-related issues for users. Acting as a point of contact for system inquiries, you will diagnose issues and implement solutions promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity across platforms by conducting regular audits and implementing preventative maintenance practices. You will be responsible for identifying potential issues before they impact users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and support their system requirements, ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals. You will translate business needs into technical specifications, enhancing the functionality and integration of our systems.
  • Document system configurations, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting protocols to support knowledge sharing and continuity within the team. You will create and maintain clear, accessible records for current and future use.
  • Drive user adoption and engagement by developing training resources and conducting sessions for users, ensuring they have the skills needed to make effective use of internal systems.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce and a background in managing and optimising internal systems.
  • Technical proficiency in system configuration and maintenance, with a solid understanding of data integrity and security best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve system issues.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide user support.
  • Demonstrated analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to system performance monitoring.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with system integration across platforms in a SaaS environment to support efficient workflows.
  • Knowledge of process optimisation techniques for enhancing system functionality and user engagement.
  • Background in developing user training materials and supporting user adoption for internal tools.
  • Experience in managing system upgrades and change management processes.
  • Prior Experience utilizing Salesforce CPQ.
