Senior Systems Engineer

Location: Coventry – Hybrid and flexible working arrangements available

Salary: £43,500 - £50,500

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Provide subject matter expertise and advice on Systems Engineering to internal and external stakeholders
2. Coach and mentor others in Systems Engineering practices
3. Tailoring and development of Systems Engineering practices for specific projects or programmes
4. Effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure optimised systems development and delivery
5. Work collaboratively across Engineering disciplines and other functions, absorbing and processing new domain knowledge quickly

Your Skills and Experience:

1. Experience in Systems Engineering with a strong understanding of the full engineering lifecycle
2. In-depth knowledge of systems engineering approaches, processes, and procedures
3. A solid grounding in the science of engineering, including physics, chemistry, and mathematics
4. Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in a STEM-related discipline
5. Awareness of the disciplines that impact system design, including engineering, law, management, logistics, and politics
6. Ability to coach, mentor, and assist others
