Qualifications

  • Experience as an accredited energy assessor is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct energy assessments to meet building regulation requirements.
  • Liaise with clients and design teams for compliance advice.
  • Produce timely reports for clients under tight deadlines.

Skills

Accredited energy assessor (NDEA & OCDEA)
Knowledge of Part L and UK building regulations
Construction methods and sustainability
Familiarity with BREEAM processes
Experience with heat decarbonisation plans
Knowledge of London Plan requirements

Desirable Skills & Experience:
  1. Accredited energy assessor across (ideally NDEA & OCDEA)
  2. Knowledge of Part L and UK building regulations
  3. Strong knowledge of construction methods and processes, with familiarity on the drivers for sustainability in the built environment
  4. Familiarity with BREEAM processes and credit areas
  5. Experience delivering heat decarbonisation plans for large estate owners
  6. Exposure and knowledge of London Plan requirements and Future Homes Standards
Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake energy assessments through SAP (Elmhurst Design 10 and Stroma FSAP) and SBEM software (IES, iSBEM) to address building regulation and planning policy requirements.
  2. Liaise with clients and design teams to gather information, confirm deadlines and provide cost effective compliance advice.
  3. Produce reports for clients under tight deadlines
  4. Attend design team meetings and workshops
  5. Liaise with colleagues to align technical solutions
