I have partnered with a leading Professional Services firm in finding them a Senior Surveyor working in the already established Property team focusing on delivery services for a number of public sector clients nationally.

You will be responsible for delivering a range of property services, including regeneration projects, CPO, valuations, development and viability appraisals, lettings and marketing, landlord and tenant, acquisitions, disposals, and property management.

This is a hybrid role based in North Tyneside. Open to flexible working and part-time options for this position.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Delivery of statutory Asset Valuations for Accounting purposes.
  2. Leading multi-disciplinary projects and providing strategic property advice on high-level Regeneration and Strategy projects.
  3. Provide a professional property service in relation to the management, acquisition, and disposal of property and property-related interests to the core client and additional external clients.
  4. Maximising the performance of the Client’s core operational and non-operational portfolios.
  5. Undertaking negotiations with public and private sector owners and developers.
  6. Providing Landlord and Tenant advice on a range of property types.
  7. Undertaking land and property valuations and disposals for a wide range of purposes.

Experience required:

  1. Professional qualifications – a degree in a property or related discipline, and ideally, a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) but not essential; the business may consider putting someone through RICS.
  2. Experience with Valuations.
  3. Experience of working in a property office environment.
  4. Experience of delivering strategic land disposals and high-profile regeneration projects.
  5. Knowledge of the CPO process.
  6. Computer literate with an understanding of valuation, GIS, and asset management databases where appropriate.
  7. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a busy environment as a member of a team with a positive, enthusiastic attitude to work.
  8. Confidence in client-facing situations, able to influence and convince, and develop new business opportunities.
  9. Must possess a full driving licence.
