Senior Surveyor/Associate Director – Property Asset Management – £65k – London

The Property Asset Management team at a dynamic property consultancy specialising in commercial and residential real estate is seeking a Property Management professional to join their Central London team. As industry experts in managing a diverse portfolio of mixed-use commercial and residential assets for a range of clients—including many overseas investors who rely on their expertise and professionalism—this role offers exposure to a broader perspective of Property Asset Management.

Job Role:

  • Collaborating with the client accounting team to produce annual service charge budgets, approve reconciliations, and generate rent raising reports.
  • Possessing strong experience in client reporting and deadline management, including meeting both internal and client expectations.
  • Coordinating with Facilities Managers on service charge budgeting and reporting, as well as conducting regular monitoring and reporting of service charge expenditures.
  • Managing all aspects of property management functions, including rent collection, service charge management, and maintaining the landlord-tenant relationship.
  • Performing regular property inspections.
  • Developing a solid understanding of the business, maintaining sound business knowledge, and staying aware of the competition.
  • Communicating effectively to ensure efficient and professional business management.
  • Having a thorough understanding of landlord and tenant issues and actively pursuing asset management opportunities.

Skills Required:

  • MRICS qualified (preferred)
  • At least 1-2 year post qualified experience with a Commercial Property Management Team
  • Property management experience of working across a variety of asset classes in Central London
  • Landlord and Tenant experience would be beneficial.
  • To work as part of a committed London team and PAM department as a whole
  • The experience, ability and enthusiasm to help deliver first class property management services
  • The creativity to produce clear, concise and accurate reports and other written communications
  • The capacity to respond effectively and professionally towards other parties with whom business is being carried out
