Paratus have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Support Analyst (infrastructure) with a multinational engineering company who support the defence and space industry. The ideal person for this role should ideally have existing experience in systems engineering and infrastructure.
The role is based in the Bristol area; however, you may be required to travel to other customer sites on an ad-hoc basis. In light of the current situation surrounding COVID-19, this role will be carried out on a temporarily remote basis. The team you will be joining currently comprises of 3 people, but there are plans to expand within the coming months.
There is area for progression for the candidate with the right aptitude, enthusiasm and drive for success.
This position as per client request requires security clearance or sole British nationality.

Your key experience will lie in:

1. Windows Server Administration (MCSA standard)
2. Windows Client Support
3. Exchange Administration
4. SharePoint Administration
5. Cisco/HP Networking
6. vSphere/VMWare Virtualisation
7. Storage Area Networking

In addition to the above, it would also be advantageous (but not essential) if you have key skills in the following:

1. VMWare vSphere 5.x/6.x
2. SharePoint Development
3. Oracle (or other Red Hat derived) Linux
4. Ubuntu (or other Debian derived) Linux
5. 3PAR Storage Network
6. HP Blade Systems
7. Microsoft SQL Server Administration
8. Docker

Extra, extra bonus points if you have experience in the following:

1. AWS Administration
2. CISSP Certified/Training
3. Cyber Security
4. CI/CD Skill
5. DevOps Skills
6. PowerShell
7. ElasticSearch
8. MariaDB/Mysql
