Job description

Job Description

Northreach is a dynamic recruitment agency that connects businesses with top talent in the cell & gene therapy, fintech, and digital sectors. Our mission is to provide a seamless and personalized recruitment experience for clients and candidates, and to create a positive work environment that encourages equality, innovation, and professional growth.

We have partnered with a pharmaceutical company whose primary objective is to address unmet medical needs by bringing high-quality, affordable medicines to market, particularly in areas where patients may not have adequate access to treatments. They often focus on developing and commercializing off-patent medicines, particularly those that have become critical in healthcare systems but may be in limited supply due to market exit by larger pharmaceutical companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and coordinate replenishments of Finished Goods (FGs) to Distribution Centers and third-party partners, acting as the contact point for distributors.
  2. Monitor stock levels to minimize write-offs and prevent destruction, initiating re-distribution where possible.
  3. Manage supplier relationships with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to ensure strong partnerships.
  4. Organize and track shipments, including handling customs forms and collaborating with QP for product release.
  5. Conduct multi-site, multi-market, and multi-level planning to align CMO supply with market demand.
  6. Review market forecasts and investigate any deviations in sales and forecasts.
  7. Work with Commercial teams to define annual quantities and provide rolling forecasts to suppliers.
  8. Ensure timely, secure shipment organization and movement across the supply chain.
  9. Verify and post all relevant Quality documents for Goods Receipt in SAP (e.g., batch number, expiry date, and manufacturing date).
  10. Ensure accurate and compliant execution of supply chain activities in SAP.
  11. Adhere to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) in all tasks.
  12. Oversee end-to-end logistics workflows, ensuring compliance with GDP, QMS, and the compliance program.
  13. Raise change controls and deviations, ensuring adherence to GDP procedures.
  14. Assist with S&OP planning and performance scorecard development for CMOs.
  15. Lead the team in the absence of the line manager.
Experience
  1. Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or in FMCG.
  2. Experience in forecasts, planning, and inventory management.
  3. Proven experience of having an analytical/numerical/data-driven approach.
  4. Proven experience in supplier relationship management and negotiation.
  5. A commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  6. Evidence of effective communication and stakeholder management.
  7. GDP and GMP proficiency.
