Job Description

We have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Structural Revit Technician in Cardiff. We need someone from a structural background who is experienced, talented, and enthusiastic about all things BIM related. This role is for an award-winning engineering consultancy in Cardiff with a skilled team covering several civil and structural engineering sectors. Project values extend up and into the region of £100m and include schemes of high local significance.

The successful candidate will be joining the business in a senior position.

Responsibilities:

Producing general arrangements and Revit Models for building structures in all traditional materials (RC detailing would be a benefit).
Liaising directly with other design teams, clients, and contractors.
Conducting site visits.
Contributing to design team meetings.
Involvement with standard and process setting in terms of the business’ BIM operations.
Using cutting edge BIM software and drawing/modeling directly from engineer’s drawings.

What is key is a solid understanding of how a building comes together.
