Senior Structural Engineer

Role: SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Salary: £40,000- £50,000

Location: Norwich

I am actively seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a successful design practice in Norwich.

Our client largely focuses on the design of building structures. Recent projects include residential apartments, schools, commercial offices, and high-rise domestic structures. You would be working on projects from inception through to completion stage and you would be offered ongoing support to become Chartered.

Working as a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:

1. Generate designs, reports, and specifications.
2. Conduct structural surveys.
3. Assist with report writing and bid proposals.
4. Occasionally visit sites.

To be considered for this Senior Structural Engineer role, you will have:

1. A strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (2,1 or above BEng/MEng).
2. Previous consultancy experience (ideally a minimum of 4-5 years or more working on residential and commercial works).
3. Competency in designing in contemporary materials.
4. The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
5. Chartered status or be working towards it.
6. A valid driving licence to visit sites (ideally).
