A major nationwide multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with between 5-10 years' design experience to join their team in Manchester City Centre.

The company is a well-known and much revered practice with 14 offices and 700 employees across the UK, including a large presence of almost 100 staff (all disciplines) based in Manchester.

The Civil and Structural team is 25 strong, and you will be joining a cohort of 14 Structural Engineers of varying expertise with support at all levels. They are well-known for a great team ethic and a solid work/life balance.

The right Senior Structural Engineer will have:

1. Experience of designing using the main structural materials
2. A track record of having worked on a variety of building structures projects
3. A highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills
4. A strong background in software analysis and a high level of technical skills. Knowledge of Tekla Structural Designer would be beneficial
5. A current driving license and willingness to travel to visit sites
6. Good knowledge of the Eurocode Standards
