Senior Structural Engineer

Structural Engineer - 2-3 Year Project (Outside IR35)

Commutable from Cardiff, Bristol, Newport, Gloucester

£30.00 - £35.00 per hour

Monday - Friday (09:00 to 17:30)

Are you a structural engineer with experience in STAAD looking for an exciting new opportunity with guaranteed work for 2-3 years?

Do you have experience in offshore structural projects, and are looking to work on industry first, innovative technologies within the energy sector?

This is the chance to work with a consultancy firm who specialise in innovative offshore structural solutions to the oil and gas, marine, defence and offshore renewable energy markets. Their portfolio covers projects up to 80 million and are trusted across the globe.

The Role:

1. Structural analysis of innovative offshore platforms.
2. Working on non-conventional and innovative structures.
3. Stress analysis, FEM analysis, physical modelling, structural specifications and more.
4. Working on new platform technology in the oil and gas and renewables industry.
5. 2/3 Year Project length.
6. Office based.

The Candidate:

1. Experience in structural engineering within any offshore industry, ideally within oil and gas.
2. Proficient in STAAD Pro.
3. Experience in stress analysis, structural design, structure exposure analysis etc.
4. Familiar with Eurocode 2,3 and 7 - along with API RP2A - Fixed offshore Platforms as a preference.
