Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Stores Person to join our team and play a key role in the journey of Red Bull Powertrains! Based at our state-of-the-art facility in Milton Keynes, you will be immersed in the heart of our team where you will make a valuable contribution towards the delivery of our Power Units year on year.

As the Senior Store Person, you will play a key supporting role to the Stores Manager in overseeing the department. This includes helping to provide accurate and reliable information to support informed decision-making, enhance departmental efficiency, and drive our continuous improvement initiatives.

You will ensure that material handling is executed to the highest possible standard. Traceability of stock, maximizing accuracy levels, and the receiving and storage of parts efficiently are all paramount.

The Stores Person will work closely with various departments to ensure parts are delivered to race/test events and 3rd party suppliers in a timely and efficient manner, as well as working closely with planners and buyers to advise on potential shortages and delivery schedules. Picking parts to works orders under tight time constraints whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy is essential. Stock takes and cycle counts are also undertaken regularly.

The Stores Department makes extensive use of computer-based stock management software; therefore, computer literacy and knowledge of ERP systems is an absolute necessity. Current holder of a Counter-Balance forklift licence would be advantageous but not essential.

Shifts are Mon-Fri 0830-1730; however, you could be expected to work shifts in the future.
