Job description

Senior Staff Nurse Nurse/ODP (Band 6) - Theatres Anaesthetics

Rated as CQC 'Outstanding', The Royal Marsden is a world leader in cancer care, pioneering treatment and ground-breaking research, and has achieved one of the best results for staff engagement across all acute specialist Trusts in the most recent NHS Staff Survey. Our overall patient experience is rated 9/10, the highest score for any Trust for quality of care.

We have 7 modern theatres in Chelsea including 3 robotic theatres. With a well-equipped anaesthetic department, we anaesthetise a range of patients, from day surgery patients to those progressing to intensive care. We cover many specialties, including Sarcoma and Melanoma, Plastics, Head and Neck, to name a few, using a wide range of anaesthetic techniques. Our anaesthetic team is trusted, skilled, hardworking and supportive, and we're looking for a motivated nurse (with a recognised anaesthetic qualification) or ODP who can demonstrate a real interest in high quality perioperative care to join us.

There are opportunities to develop and progress which are supported by an enthusiastic practice education team. We offer a wide range of benefits, discounts, and support for all our staff. RMH is committed to giving staff greater flexibility and control over their own time, improving access to childcare, encouraging diversity and tackling discrimination, harassment and bullying. We offer a comprehensive and generous pension scheme.
