Senior Staff Nurse - Acute Mental Health, South London

Pulse Nursing have been given an exciting job opportunity in South London, for a senior Mental Health Nurse to become a permanent member of a private mental health hospital.

The hospital specializes in a range of mental health challenges including treatment for depression and drug and alcohol addiction treatment. They also offer inpatient mental health treatment for young people and outpatient support for individuals struggling with an eating disorder.

We are looking for a resilient and compassionate senior RMNs to join the team, working on the Acute Mental Health Ward.

About the Role

You will be an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

1. Assessing, planning and delivering care with the patient and their carer/family.
2. Providing nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patient's named nurse.
3. Working as an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary team, contributing to a team approach to patient care.

A competitive salary paying up to £37,439, dependent on skill and entry level!

Shift Pattern:
You will work a variety of shift patterns, which will include days, nights, weekends and holiday periods.

Requirements for this role:

• Have at least 6 months experience working in a mental health setting
• Ability to provide a clinical reference
• Current NMC or HCPC Registration
• Able to provide an enhanced DBS
• Passed preceptorship
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
