Location: Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) at HCA Healthcare, London
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
Salary: Competitive + Benefits - (pension, private health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development).

We're looking for a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute, currently rated "Good" by the CQC.

Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is a world-leading clinical trials facility specialising in the development of new therapies and precision medication for cancer patients. We believe that participation in a clinical trial is the first step in fighting cancer, not the last.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with great interpersonal skills to join and contribute to the development and growth of the pharmacy department at SCRIUK in the role of Clinical Trials Pharmacist. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a pharmacy clinical trials service and assist in the set-up and coordination of pharmacy services at SCRIUK.

The department is purely for outpatients who are visiting to take part in cancer-related clinical trials. Working within this small team you will have the support of both the Pharmacy Manager and the Lead Pharmacist along with the Technicians to deliver a high-quality level of service.

What you'll bring:

  • Degree in Pharmacy
  • Registration with GPhC
  • Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience specialising in Oncology and Haematology
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with Oncology and Haematology Clinical Trials
